Do not rush to throw away the old furniture - it will still serve you for many years, if you put a little effort and labor to update it. Our heroine considered it right to leave a stand under the TV and decorate it, using stencils with mandala drawings. Let's find out how a woman managed to give a new life to a table for a TV, which is already many years old.
Transformation
This table, rather a pedestal, is ideal for displaying mandala patterns on it, as it has a flat surface.
At the initial stage of work, our heroine did the following:
- Sanded surface.
- Removed the old paint.
The woman needed the following materials and tools:
- Styrofoam roller.
- Paint.
- Paper towel.
- Tray for paint.
- Primer (if it is not part of the paint).
After the table was sanded and freed from old paint, all its parts were coated with a primer, using a roller.
Then our heroine painted surfaces and proceeded to the next stage of work only after the paint had dried.
Next, the woman chose a place on the table for drawing.
She decided that half of the picture would be on the top of the table, and the other half on the front.
After that I put a stencil with a mandala on the table and, dipping my brush in metallic paint, began to apply the drawing.
A woman took off excess paint from a brush with a paper towel.
When the job was done, our heroine had only to wait until the paint dries.
I really liked this mandala patterned table.
It is no worse than many new tables that cost a lot of money. I applaud the woman for the work done!
